Got Questions?

Our planned breeding program is designed to ensure that we are responsibly breeding only when there is enough interest and demand for this breed. Between 2020 and 2023, there was a significant rise in the demand for dogs, largely due to more people working from home. However, as many return to the office, many have noticed an increase in dogs being put up for adoption.
To help prevent unnecessary overbreeding and ensure that every puppy we breed is going to a loving, committed home, we’ve implemented this planned breeding approach. We only proceed with breeding when we have confirmed interest and waitlisted families, ensuring that no puppy is left without a home.

We aim to make the breeding process easy to understand. Once our female dog comes into heat and meets our planned breeding requirements, we will breed her with our male dog. While we have a rough idea of when our females will come into heat based on their previous cycles, it’s hard to give an exact date ahead of time.
However, once the breeding happens, the timeline becomes more predictable. The pregnancy lasts about 60 days (roughly 2 months). After the puppies are born, they’ll stay with us for about 8 weeks. This means that from the time of breeding to when you can take your puppy home, it will be about 4 months. We schedule pick-up for the Saturday after the puppies reach 8 weeks of age. Generally they go to the vet for first set of shots the Friday prior.

Wait List vs. Call List
Wait List Application: If you’re ready to commit to bringing a puppy into your home and want to be a confirmed family for our next litter, choose the wait list. By selecting this option, you’ll start the application process with us right away. A deposit is required to officially secure your spot on the wait list. This process is part of our planned breeding program, ensuring that every puppy has a home lined up.
Call List Application: If you’re not ready to commit just yet but would like to be informed when we’re planning a new litter (our female comes into heat) select the call list. This option allows us to notify you when we’re starting to plan a new litter, giving you a chance to decide if you’d like to move forward at that time.

Yes we do with in Canada
Flights within Canada with WestJet:
Direct flights to be considered only at the time, flying out of Calgary. While we highly encourage families to visit us, meet our dogs, and see our home, we understand that not everyone is able to make a long journey to pick up a puppy. This is a very new option that we are offering after having some indirect experience with the process.
The following is a price break down for flying:
Flights: ~100-$350 depending on location
Kennel: ~$115
Shipping Fee: $400.00
This includes puppy health certificate at the vet for flying a pup under 12 weeks.

The Application Serves Several Purposes:
Contact Information: We collect your email and cell phone number to stay in touch throughout the process.
Initial Introduction: The application helps us get to know you better before scheduling a call.
The Call: During the call, we’ll outline the steps involved in our planned breeding program and what you can expect.
This process ensures you are fully informed and prepared as we move forward.

Your deposit serves as a confirmation and secures your spot for a puppy in our next planned litter. By placing a deposit, you're letting us know that you're ready and committed to welcoming a puppy into your home when it is born. We take great care in planning our litters, and it’s important to us that every puppy has a loving home waiting.
Your deposit guarantees that a puppy will be reserved for you. However, since we are working with nature, we cannot guarantee the specific gender or color of the puppies. If the breeding doesn’t result in a successful pregnancy, you will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer your deposit to our next planned litter—it’s entirely up to you.

While it might sound straightforward, “picking your puppy” can get complicated—especially with a large litter and multiple families involved. So how do we decide who picks first? To keep things fair and smooth, we use an ordered pick system based on a first-come, first-served process. Once your deposit is received, your name is added to our waitlist in the order it came in. That becomes your official pick number.
We host an in-person puppy party on take-home day. This is when all picks are made, in order. Families will get time to meet the entire litter, ask questions, and make their decision in person. Once a family has chosen, they’ll complete paperwork and head home with their new puppy the same day.
About Gender Preferences:
We ask families to commit to a puppy, not a guaranteed gender. If you have a strong preference for male or female, you’ll need to reserve first pick male or first pick female in a future litter. Once a few picks are ahead of you, we can’t guarantee your preferred gender will still be available.

Tail docking and dewclaw removal are no longer legal in Alberta. These procedures are considered cosmetic and are not permitted under current veterinary guidelines and animal welfare laws.
Because of this, we do not perform or arrange for these procedures. We raise our puppies in accordance with the laws and ethical standards of Alberta, and we appreciate families who respect and support this approach. The United States is one of the few places where tail docking and dewclaw removal are still commonly practiced. If you specifically want a dog with these procedures done, you may want to consider looking for a puppy from the U.S. or other regions where they are still performed.
